Father's Day DIY

I'm running behind on this holiday stuff, but I finally got some pictures of some great (and super easy and quick) Father's Day gifts.
Both gifts were made with things I already had on hand...making them free :)
(and I know how much we all like free things!)
On the end is a small piece of foil to give it a metal look.

The 'tape' is yellow notebook paper, written on with marker, then covered in clear tape for durability.
I used the saying, "You Totally Rule!!!" to add some pizazz :)
Tape Measure is made from one Mac 'n Cheese box, cut and covered in brown tape.
Shirt and Tie card is made from scrapbook paper.
Fold a piece of paper in half, cut along the fold (only about 1/3 of the width on each edge), fold the cut pieces in to center of card to make the collar. I free hand cut the tie, but you can find templates online. Glue the tie and collar down.
After I cut and folded the 'shirt' portion, I added a white piece of paper to the inside (to write on).

Hope this gives you a few quick ideas for this weekend!
