Easy Pizza Slices

I was feeling a little lazy today after swimming with Widget at the pool, so I went for something easy for lunch. Sorry about a few of these pictures, it's hard to take great pictures with the timer setting ;)

I started with a handful of ingredients:
-sliced bread
-provolone cheese
-pepperoni slices

I also used, but not necessary (& not photographed):
-Alfredo sauce
-shredded Parmesan cheese

Here is how I made my Easy Pizza Slices:

Lay some plain slices of bread out on an un-greased cookie sheet.

Optional: smear about 1 tbsp of choice of sauce on bread.

Lay slices of peperoni on top of bread-use as many or as few slices as you'd like

Then bake the bread for about 5 minutes at 390* Sorry I don't have pictures for this step

After baking the peperoni, I dabbed the grease off each slice...kind of gross, but I think this step makes it taste a bit better.

After degreasing the peperoni, top with cheese. I used sliced provolone, but you can use any kind of cheese you like.

Then bake for 4-5 minutes, until the cheese gets bubbly. Once I pulled the Pizza Slices out of the oven, for good, I sprinkled shredded Parmesan cheese on top of the provolone.

Here is the final Easy Pizza Slices-sorry my face is cut off, at least you can see the food, right?!?!
And these are great to pare with raw carrots (with ranch dipping sauce), fruit smoothie or any other veg/fruit your family enjoys.

The Widget wanted her picture taken, too...because it's fun :)

What lunch staples do you use when you need something quick, or easy, or for a picky eater?
