Today's version is perfectly pink for Valentine's Day: Peppermint Crunch Puppy Chow
Don't they look delicious!?! Want to learn how to make some for your next snack? Great! Here is how I made my
- 9 cups Chex Cereal (I used a mix of Rice and Corn cereal)
- 1/4 cup White Chocolate Chips
- 2 cups (entire bag) Andes Peppermint Crunch baking chips (I picked up these lovelies at Target this week on clearance...I think they are seasonal, so hurry and pick some up!)
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 2 cups Powdered Sugar
InstructionsPour measured Chex cereal into a lage bowl.
In microwavable bowl, microwave peppermint crunch baking chips, butter, and white chocolate chips on High for 1 minute.
Stir. Microwave again for about 30 seconds (or until mixture can be stirred smooth).
Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into large re-sealable plastic bag with the powdered sugar. Seal bag and shake gently to coat the cereal/chocolate mixture with sugar. Once cereal/chocolate mixture is well covered in powdered sugar, pour contents of bag onto a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.
Once cool, pour into a fun serving dish and set in front of your friends...or store in an airtight container to enjoy at a later time.
